Expert Witness Services

Construction claims are complex and often require subtle distinction of engineering and construction practices. As such, we help legal
counsel solve complex and technical issues related to:

  • Construction defects
  • Construction delays
  • Economic damages
  • Time impacts
  • Contract interpretation

We have testified in the Canadian courts and have worked with both defendants and plaintiffs to provide expert witness services. Along with expert witness services, we can also serve as mediators and function as a “neutral evaluator” or “project neutral.”

Litigation and ADR (Alternate Dispute Resolution) Support

Our deep understanding and expertise allow us to simplify and clarify the issues when presenting our analysis in the appropriate forum, be that trial, deposition, arbitration, mediation, dispute review boards, or negotiations. Our focus is to perform independent investigations and to distinguish the facts from allegations.

Forensic Analysis

We conduct in-depth research and forensic analysis on the engineering and construction matters. For forensic delay analysis, depending on project records and available schedule updates the appropriate CPM schedule analysis methodology is selected. We can also assist in producing the as-built schedules from the project’s contemporaneous information.
